#BeCyberSmart: Fail to plan; plan to fail

Fail to plan; plan to fail

Cities have a famous saying, “see something, say something” but that shouldn’t be restricted to street safety alone. This should be a mantra for our digital interactions.

Every day a new invention is being created; mobile phones, games, TVs and what nobody wants to believe – viruses, ransomware and phishing tactics.

Nothing is up to chance; hackers are constantly devising new ways to filtrate unsuspecting victims.

You can’t be too safe in our new tech-reliant world.

Live by the ESE code – explore your digital footprint to see where there are loopholes, share with family and institutions such as the MTN IT Security team ([email protected]) when you find a new loophole that is being exploited or possibly going to be exploited and use the experience gained to take actions and prevent cyber attacks.
