This brings us back around again: what does this mean? It means that if you have an application that needs eight CPUs but only has four available then with Hyper-V running on top of Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition then those extra four CPUs aren’t wasted like they would be with other solutions such as VMware ESXi due simply because each individual task doesn’t run separately; when using Hyper-V all tasks are run together inside a single host OS instance since there’s no need for separate ones anymore!
