Uber’s air taxi service launch gets boost from startup:

Uber’s plan to unveil an urban air taxi service has received a boost from a secretive, well-financed startup. The ride-hailing company revealed that it would collaborate with Joby Aviation, a California-based aerospace company that has been working on electric aviation for more than 10 years. Joby will be the 1st company to commit to Uber’s aggressive timetable to launch its flying taxi service by 2023.
