Uber founder Travis Kalanick leaves the company after 31 December 2019.
The co-founder of Uber is finally leaving the ride-hailing company as a board member.
This comes after he was pushed out as CEO two years ago.
He said just like other CEOs who leave their company, he said he would channel his energy to his business and other philanthropic missions.
Uber hasn’t announced who would be replacing him when Travis Kalanick leaves uber on 31 December 2019.
This is a very huge blow to Uber after founding Ubercab with Garret Camp.
He earlier sold his shares in the company and made about $2.5billion in cash.
