Vodafone now allows customers to send any amount as wanted, at no cost on Vodafone cash.
Prior to this, sending and receiving money on the service, came at a cost to both senders and receivers. The sender pays 50Gp for sending GHC 50, and the receiver also pays the same amount when cashing out the money. The uncomfortable part is that charges are much higher when the money is sent to a different network.
Now, the story is much different as customers won’t be charged for all their money transfers with Vodafone cash. This offer is not limited to transfers to only Vodafone cash users, but to all networks.

Mobile money has over the years grown to become one of the most patronised aspects of Ghana’s telecommunication industry. Many Ghanaians have grown so fond of the service, that they now use it for making every payment.
Apart from allowing customers to send free Vodafone cash, the company recently introduced among other juicy packages Vodafone Kasatenten, which allows customers to call and talk for as long as an hour after paying for only the first minute.
