Vodacom World eFootball 2020 participants will be looking forward to have a share in the R220,000 Prize Pool announced by Maingaming.
The event is being organized by Maingaming and Vodacom. Vodacom World eFootball will be staged at Vodacom World in Midrand, Gauteng. There will be four qualifiers during March and April, with the top eight players from each progressing to the grand finals. Each qualifier is scheduled to be a two-day event with a maximum of 128 players.
On the first day of the competition, the 128 players will be cut down to 32. There is a R4,250 per qualifier cash prize pool up for grabs with entry been free for qualifiers.
Final details are not yet confirmed but, a last chance qualifier will be offered on the same weekend. On schedule are the first three qualifiers which will take place from 7 and 8 March, 14 and 15 March, and 21 and 22 March. Registration opens at 8am on the Saturday March 7, 2020, and closes at 9am. The first match kicks off at precisely 9:30am.
The qualifying winner will be awarded R3,000 with the first runner up taking R750 and the second runner up bagging R500. The winner will take home R20,000 for the final event, while the first runner up and the second runner up will take R4,000 and R1,000 respectively.
