The Nothing Phone 1, the first smartphone from Carl Pei-led Nothing Technologies is currently one of the most anticipated phones and the company has announced it will only be sold via invites initially.
The announcement of the sale came officially via the company’s YouTube channel, in which their Head of Design, Tom Howard, delved deeper into the design of the upcoming phone.
The company also discussed the manufacturing process of the upcoming smartphone in the 15-minute video and revealed how they used recycled aluminium in the manufacture of this unique handset.
The company owned by Carl Pei, co-foundered OnePlus, also revealed in the video that the sale of the device will be through an invite system. The move is intended for Phone (1) to sell faster and specifically to their targeted demographic.
