Google released Android Pie last year and smartphone makers have updated some of their devices to the new OS. Some are still in the process and Xiaomi is not left out. Xiaomi is currently working intensively on its MIUI 11, but has not ignored the release of Android Pie.
A number of Xiaomi devices have their scheduled date to get the Android Pie update.
The company has updated list of its phones getting the Android Pie update. This is in the company’s bid to bring Android Pie to its budget phones.
The Xiaomi devices recently added to the list are:
1. Xiaomi Mi 6X.
2. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
3. Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro.
4. Xiaomi Redmi Y2.
Android Pie is the latest and ninth major update of the Android operating software from Google. Google’s own Pixel phones were the first to have the update and other devices got it subsequently. Android Pie comes with many interesting features. A few of the features include Adaptive mode, Digital Wellbeing, gesture navigation and a lot others.

Xiaomi, through its MIUI forum, says that users of the above mentioned phones will be able to sign-in for the beta version in the first quarter of this year, 2019. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and the Xiaomi Mi 8 will also get the beta, though they are a little-over-the-budget line devices.
