In recent years, the fintech ecosystem of Ghana’s finance sector has experienced some significant development and growth. With the USSD based service of MOVE, however, there will be no data cost as there’s no need for any downloads. This limits the customer’s cost for using the service; as all they’ll need to do is to dial the code (*718#) and set MOVE in motion.

- Make mobile money transfers across all the local telecom platforms (MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo).
- Purchase airtime and data bundles for all the networks and service providers such as Surfline directly from MOVE.
- Pay subscription service (DSTV, GO TV) bills as well as utility (PDS, and Ghana Water Company) bills.
- Save and manage contacts of your regular vendors for easy transfers and payments.
- Verify receiving wallets on MTN and AirtelTigo.

Fraudulent transactions are an issue that poses a challenge across most of the payment platforms. MOVE has access to a fraud center with which they are able to monitor and to an extent mitigate the risk of fraud on their platform, however, inaccurate customer data on mobile wallets because of registering with false credentials remains a major challenge to be solved.
