Recently, we heard of an Honor 5G-capable mid-range device with lots of information regarding specs coming directly from TENAA. And now, an unnamed reliable leakster has shed more light on the specs by claiming that the smartphone will feature a custom Sony IMX600y sensor.
According to gsmarena.com, the Sony IMX600 sensor is a familiar feature for some Huawei and Honor devices as the 40MP imager recently came with the Honor V30 Pro and the Huawei Mate Xs. However, the IMX600y custom sensor possesses an identical resolution so everyone is still confused about what makes it stand out.

Most of the specs already revealed from the TENAA listing have been confirmed, including the resolutions of 2 more cameras – 8MP and 2MP. The 8MP shooter will most likely be an ultrawide unit while 2MP should be macro snapper or might function as a depth sensor. The front-facing camera is 16MP too.
