It might seem like a good rest, but sleeping excessively is actually you inviting unwanted changes in your body. Here’s how to prevent oversleeping:
1. Come up with a fresh sleep routine:
Anyone who oversleeps is in need of a new and comfortable sleep routine. Draft one and stick to it.
2. Avoid caffeine: You need to stay away from caffeine since it will keep you awake at night and still make you oversleep at some other time.

3. Work out: Working out regularly will help you sleep quicker. It aids a better quality sleep as well, rather than the kind of siesta that will not be good for you.
4. Stay away from intentional oversleeping: Sometimes, we say because it is the weekend, we need to give our body a lot of rest. However, oversleeping to make up for a busy 5 days will disrupt your circadian rhythm and make it difficult to sleep during the week.
5. Leave your curtains open: By so doing, you will know it is time to wake up when you morning light shines.
