The Federal Government has wrapped up the training of more than seventy victims of human trafficking, who were rescued and rehabilitated by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking of Persons.
The 5-day training, which was organized by the National Centre for Women Development, a parastatal of the Ministry of Women Affairs, concentrated on Information and Communication Technology, entrepreneurship, computer hardware, and mobile phone repairs.

The Director-General of NCWD, Mary Ekpere-Eta had this to say, “Seventy female artisans were trained in computer hardware and mobile phone repairs. The aim of this training is to empower our female students, so they can make progress and be able to actualise their desires in life through the use of the ICT.”
