eSports Nigeria has announced its strategic partnership with Techxhub, official distribution partner of leading technology brands around the world.
Techxhub will now become its official gaming peripherals partner, providing gaming equipment from reputable, world-class brands like AOC, PlaySeat, SteelSeries and Targus.
The partnership on this end will support its eSports and gaming events as well as expose gamers to some of the best equipment available in the gaming and eSports world. This we believe will raise the profile of events and also the skills of athletes as they compete globally.
The eSports industry also will experience growth like we first envisage and have also seen in other entertainments industries in Nigeria including the now monstrous music and movie (Nollywood) industries.
Nigeria with its large market made up predominantly of young people has always been attracting investors in diverse sectors but this will be the first in the burgeoning eSports industry in Nigeria and they are proud to have Techxhub get this distinction which will go down in history of eSports and gaming in Nigeria.
TechXHub is a Dubai based company that was appointed by Steelseries as its regional distributor in the Middle East and Africa back in August. Techxhub with their industry leading team of professionals and experience of partnering with the best consumer technology brands, deliver comprehensive retail management support to channel partners as well as end-users of their products.
Techxhub also struck a similar deal with eSports association Ghana, Kiddie eSports (also from Ghana) and eSports Zimbabwe.
Sachin Kapoor, Vice President Middle East Africa, India and emerging markets at Techxhub has been instrumental to this partnership. Techxhub’s vision to develop eSports in Africa by creating more avenues for prospective gamers is one we mutually share.
