The wait is nearly over! The 2019 set of iPhones now have a scheduled date. Apple has sent out invitations for the annual iPhone launch event and this year’s event is happening on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.
We are all expecting the company to announce the iPhone 11or XI or whatever name Apple will call it. The event will take place at the company’s Apple Park headquarters in Cupertino, California.
The main product which is going to be the topic is the iPhone 11 and it is rumoured to be coming in 3 different models. Probably, something like a regular version, a plus/pro version, then a smaller/lite version (which would cost less).
Two out of the 3 rumoured models may come with the controversial triple-camera system on the back of the phone. The lite or smaller version may also come with a screen slightly bigger than the iPhone Xs, its predecessor. It is probably going to have a 6.1-inch display.
This might be the company’s new approach, as it has struggled with smartphone sales decline along with the rest of the industry. Apple bringing lower price devices from the same family could make people that were put off by the company’s crazy ever-increasing prices of its flagships to jump back.
Also, the incoming iPhones are rumoured to have bi-directional wireless charging support. That means they could charge AirPods when used with their new wireless charging case.
Apple may be doing this event for the iPhone 11, but it will definitely launch other products as well. It launched the Apple Watch Series 4 as well as a software update for the HomePod at last year’s event. Thus, we expect that it is bringing more exciting products and updates
The all-new 16-inch MacBook Pro was rumoured to come by the end of this year so there’s the possibility that it will launch with the iPhone 11.
