Innovation is the one factor that drives the telecommunications industry; as it enables telecom operators deliver value to their customers — in a sector where competition between players is always at a high. AirtelTigo has a brand promise of making life simple for Ghanaians, and in line with that, it has brought a new product, the FUSE bundle, to its many subscribers.
The unique thing about the FUSE bundle is that there is no time limit, so you’re never under any pressure to finish your talktime before a certain date and hour.
Starting at 40 minutes talktime to all networks, and 40MB of internet data for GhC2, the bundle offers customers three price options to choose from. The others are the GhC5 package that includes 100 minutes talktime together with 100MB of data for browsing the internet, as well as the third price option which comes at GhC10 for 250 minutes talktime and 250MB of internet data.
Subscribing to the FUSE bundle is easy; just dial *567#, select your price option, and you’ll be good to go. And you can bundle from your existing talktime balance, scratch card, or from your AirtelTigo mobile wallet.
Addressing the media at the launch, Murthy Chaganti, Chief Operating Officer at AirtelTigo intimated that the product was tailored to meet the voice and data needs of the modern customer. This allows the customer to make budget-based plans while remaining in control of the voice balance and data bundle.
“This innovative bundle reiterates our commitment to offer our customers value for money in line with our brand promise of making life simple for Ghanaians.” — Murthy Chaganti
Speaking further, he revealed that FUSE was designed based on extensive research as well as customer feedback which highlighted the need for a package that included talktime as well as data for browsing the internet.
Also speaking at the launch was Pius Tuffour, Marketing Operations Director, AirtelTigo, who explained the mechanics for subscribing to the FUSE bundle..
