MultiChoice Ghana last week hosted and launched its first media showcase.
Hosted at the firm’s headquarters in Accra, the MultiChoice Ghana media showcase 2020 was attended by media personalities as well as some Ghanaian celebrities including Lydia Forson and Gloria Sarfo.
At the MultiChoice Ghana media showcase 2020, the firm announced its plans to unveil new channels for the Creative Arts Industry in Ghana. Among the new channels set to be unveiled is the Akwaaba Magic.

The new Akwaaba Magic on DStv will be launched in March 2021 and staying with the hyper-local, Multichoice Ghana will be investing in the local film and broadcast industry to create interesting content for Ghanaians.
What To Expect On The New Akwaaba Magic Channel
The Akwaaba Magic on DStv will be a 24-hour general entertainment channel targeted at the Ghanaian, across the African continent. The channel will offer the best in Ghanaian telenovela, drama, music, movies, and reality shows.
The channel will offer viewers more local content and provide more choice and variety for Ghanaians. Unlike other channels on DStv, Akwaaba Magic will broadcast more local content and productions that will resonate with Ghanaians — home and abroad.
DStv and Multichoice Ghana will collaborate with content creators and production houses to create more local content that will be focused on the Ghanaian culture, entertainment, and top-quality local content to Ghanaian screens.

All these and more will air on Akwaaba Magic on DStv channel 150 starting in March 2021.
