The twin telecom company in Ghana, AirtelTigo, has launched it Business-to-Business arm, AirtelTigo Business, to help drive growth in local businesses. The company believes the initiative is in line with it’s vision of a better life for all its customers.
The aim of AirtelTigo Business, thus, is to provide an end-to-end connectivity solutions to any type of corporate organisation. This is to enable the organisations attain growth and also gain significant profits.
As the basic job, AirtelTigo Business offers communications solutions to businesses. The solutions include Mobile Voice and Data, Fixed lines, Internet connectivity, Hosting and Managed Services.
Launching AirtelTigo Business under the banner, “Making Business simple”, the CEO, Mitwa Kaemba Ng’ambi reiterate the purpose of AirtelTigo Business.
“At AirtelTigo, we believe that we are your partner in helping you evolve and finding ways to be better and do better. We would like to make your businesses simple by addressing all your communication needs thus freeing you up to focus on your core business.”
Ms Ng’ambi added that the connectivity solutions Airtel Business provides does not cover only Ghana but it runs across the African continent. She also revealed that AirtelTigo will utilise the parent companies’ resources to provide excellent telecom experience to businesses.
The parent companies for the now merged company AirtelTigo are Bharti Airtel and Millicom Ghana Limited.
Ministry of Trade and Industry’s approval
Ghana’s Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah graced the launching of the sub-brand. He applauded AirtelTigo for the successful completion of its network integration and upgrade.
Deputy Minister Akenkorah also endorsed AirtelTigo’s Business arm. He believes this will help businesses realise “their full potential with the wide portfolio of digital solutions”.
The Deputy Minister continued, “I am happy to note that AirtelTigo Business aims to address connectivity solutions for businesses with its “total communications solution” agenda and is already serving some of the largest businesses in the country.”
He then assured that the Ministry of Trade and Industry is ready to support initiatives that create jobs and transform communities. “The government will continue to support individuals, SMEs and other businesses to adopt ICT solutions to enhance their business operations so they can contribute to the growth of the economy,” he noted.
As said in the beginning the new sub-brand, Airtel Business, is here to offer to businesses connectivity solutions. Solutions provided by AirtelTigo Business include Mobile Voice and Data, Fixed lines, Internet connectivity, Hosting and Managed Services. The initiative aims at all types of business — small, medium and large corporations.
