1. Data recovery from a logical disk failure is much easier than physical failure

No data recovery software will guarantee you 100% possibility. It all depends on the exact circumstance in which the file got lost or corrupt. A file which is accidentally deleted can be easily recovered if it was not over-written. On the other hand, if the storage device is physically damaged file recovery chances are less. In other cases like stored location missing, very old files, files are overwritten, file header corrupted by virus or malware etc the file recovery is still possible but very difficult.
