One of the most important aspects of running a firm is reaching out to people and vise versa. The easier it is for people to reach your business, the better business becomes for you. Many small firms have used WhatsApp to perform this function over time however, since it’s not a dedicated App for business, there are a few features that are missing.
To ensure that small firm owners get their needs met on the social platform, WhatsApp business was introduced. But how do you find your way around it? Here are a few things you can do with WhatsApp Business.
Things you can do with WhatsApp Business
With these few features and abilities, you’ll be amazed at the things you can do with whatsapp business.
1. Add Information
The app allows you to create a full business profile. You can add information like a physical address that can be viewed directly on Google Maps under the business category, in addition to your business hours. You also get the option of adding an email address and two website URLs.
All these will be visible to the customers when they view your business profile from their account.
2. Set a Greeting Message
What is more soothing to a prospective customer than a greeting message? This feature is similar to the one on Facebook Messenger. You should be familiar with this if you’ve ever managed a business page on Facebook. WhatsApp Business app also lets you send a greeting message.
3. Set Away Message
Just like the Greeting message feature, you can also set an away message on WhatsApp Business. It will automatically send the set custom message to your customers while you are away.
WhatsApp offers three types of schedules for away messages. You can either set a custom schedule or choose Out of business hours option. Both will be activated automatically at their respective times. You can also use the third option i.e. Always send.
Unlike Greeting message, that is sent only when the customer messages you for the first time or after 14 days of inactivity, if you choose Always send, a custom automated away message will be sent to all existing and new customers at all times.
4. View Message Statistics
This may not be a new feature with the original whatsapp entirely but with this, you can track the number of sent, delivered, read, and received messages directly under Business settings > Statistics.
5. Quick Replies
Message more, work less – It’s that simple! This feature allows you to save and reuse messages you frequently send so you can easily answer common questions in no time.
To access a Quick reply message, enter / while writing your message and all Quick replies that you have created will popup. No need to copy paste the entire text all the time.
Please share on Facebook or Twitter. It helps more people see it.
