We all want a phone that can help us do a whole lot of stuff without breaking much sweat. Also, there is too much stress around; stressing yourself with a function on your phone shouldn’t be an option at all. As technology progresses, phone manufacturers come up with upgrades to ensure that we are satisfied with the speed and performance of our mobile devices.
RAM, which stands for Random-Access Memory is where your phone’s software resides while it is running along with the data it is using. RAM is used by both OS and application software. Devices with more RAM can run more complex software and multiple applications at the same time.
Even with a 2GB RAM, you can do a lot. However, if you want to do more with a phone and have it around you for a few more years, then going a step further for a 3GB RAM phone isn’t a bad idea at all. That is why we have sampled our list of 3GB RAM smartphones.

2017 3GB RAM Smartphones
HTC One M9
The HTC One M9 offers beauty you can appreciate and innovation you can touch. It features a 5-inch, 441PPI HD display, with the oleo phobic coating giving it a silky feel on your fingertips and runs Android version 5.0.2.
Aside the 3GB RAM, it boasts of a 32GB internal storage and a 128GB microSD memory expansion slot in addition to a 20 MP rear camera.
Samsung Galaxy A5
This device was one of Samsung’s first releases last year. It comes with a 5.20-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels and is powered by 1.9GHz octa-core. Aside its 3GB RAM, it boasts of a16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. When all these pictures are taken, they can be stored on its 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card.
Huawei Y7 Prime
The Huawei Y7 Prime adopts a bold new design and craft based on its 5.5-inch HD display with a 2.5D curved glass, enhancing the pleasant finger sliding at the edges of the screen in a metal body combines both durability and lightness. It is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-core high-speed CPU (MSM8940), 3GB RAM running memory and 32GB internal memory that is expandable by another 128GB and runs on Android 7.0 with the latest version of Huawei’s EMUI5.1. This phone has a fingerprint functionality.
Tecno Camon CX Pro
The 5.5″ IPS Full HD display device is packed with a 32GB internal memory. Also, The Camon CX includes a power saving mode. This keeps your device going for longer when your battery is low. With an amazing camera quality of 16MP for the rear and 16.0 MP with Dual flash for the front-facing camera.
Huawei GR3 2017
Being Huawei’s second device on our list, the Huawei GR3 2017 was released in January 2017. The GR3 2017 comes with a 5.2″ Full HD display covered with a 2.5D curved glass, a 12 MP large-pixels camera, Kirin 655 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB storage capacity which is expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card. Present as well is EMUI 5.0, which brings a lot of loveable software experience to Huawei devices.
