YouTube has decided to delete clips that falsely link 5G technology to the spread of coronavirus. The platform is ready to decrease the number of clips on its platform that make such allegations and will only remove clips that breach its policies.
A YouTube spokesperson had this to say, “We also have clear policies that prohibit videos promoting medically unsubstantiated methods to prevent the coronavirus in place of seeking medical treatment, and we quickly remove videos violating these policies when flagged to us.”
