Windows 10 users can now make calls right from their computers via an in-house app. You can say this feature is long overdue but it’s here finally. It is being made possible by the Your Phone app for Windows 10.
Your Phone app basically allows the user to connect their Android phone or iPhone to their Windows 10 computer. The feature, which is out now, is limited to Android only at the moment. It isn’t supported on iOS probably because of Apple’s closed system.
Thank you #WindowsInsiders for your feedback over the last couple of months. Today, we're pleased to announce the general availability of the #YourPhone app Calls feature, which allows you to receive and make phone calls on your PC: https://t.co/m47kLcXgbS pic.twitter.com/4GuIOXjR71

The newly added calls feature is joining a set of features like screen mirroring, messaging, notification syncing, photo syncing, etc. already on the Your Phone app. The feature lets you dial numbers and make calls without having to touch your phone.
Users can access the call history and transfer a call back to the phone as well. Though the feature is available for Android now, not all Android phones are supported. The support is gradually going to roll out.
