You may believe that browsing the internet for news feeds and memes would help you fall asleep faster, but using your phone in bed at night can only harm your vision.

The blue light that the phone generates at night is really bright. It has an impact on not only vision but also the generation of melatonin, the sleep hormone. Consider these reasons why you should leave your phone in the other room before going to bed tonight.

Long-term blue light exposure, as well as its impact on sleep cycles, has been linked to an increased risk of brain cancer.
