Ghanaians like myself can now smile because after months in Beta, iOS 9 finally iPhones, iPads, and the iPod touch that brings features such as more advanced iPad multitasking, a News app, search and Siri enhancements, and a variety of technical changes including better battery life today!

iOS9 comes with news app on the homescreen that pulls news stories and articles from a wide range of credible news stories. With news you don’t have to jump from one website to another and app to app won’t meet a hit story. find out more on news here
The new iCloud Drive app built into iOS 9 allows you to access any file you save to iCloud from just one place helping you to better organize your files and content.
A Back button
Although the iphone does not come traditionally like the android phone with a back button. The new iOS comes with a back button in the top-left corner of the screen anytime you jump from one app to another.
Whats iOS Android Migration
This is one of the most important updates that comes with iOS9.
You can move iOS app to wirelessly switch from your Android device to your new iOS device. It securely transfers your contacts, message history, camera photos and videos, web bookmarks, mail accounts, and calendars.
The all new Split view feature
This feature has been very prominent in Samsung tablets but , but iOS 9 marks the first time it will become available on an iOS device. As you might have gathered from the name, Split View allows you to open two apps at a time, side by side.
There’s also a related Slide Over feature that lets you open an app in one-third of the screen to interact with it quickly and then close it back to the background.
According to appleinsider.com, iOS 9 can be downloaded free via iTunes or as an over-the-air update through the Software Update function in iOS’s Settings app. People must have at least an iPhone 4s, iPad 2, or fifth-generation iPod touch.
“With this update, your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch become more intelligent and proactive with powerful search and improved Siri features,” Apple’s release notes state. “New multitasking features for iPad allow you to work with two apps simultaneously, side-by-side or with the new Picture-in-Picture feature.
“And, built-in apps become more powerful with detailed transit information in Maps, a redesigned Notes app, and an all-new News app. And improvements at the foundation of the operating system enhance performance, improve security and give you up to an hour of extra battery life.”
Hands-on with iOS 9
iOS 9 will come preloaded on the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, launching on Sept. 25, and the iPad Pro, due in November.
