Warner Bros signs AI startup to help decide which films to back:
Warner Bros Studios is set to use artificial intelligence for decisions on whether movies and TV series should be made and when they should be premiered. The film studios has registered an AI-based software system provided by a company named Cinelytic to decide which content can be commissioned and when their release date should be.
Senior Vice President, Warner Bros Pictures International Distribution, Tonis Kiis had this to say, “In our industry, we make tough decisions every day that affect what – and how – we produce and deliver films to theatres around the world, and the more precise our data is, the better we will be able to engage our audiences.”
