We all have different reasons we want to port. I have ported my number to Vodafone once. This happened when I wanted to enjoy the Vodafone X offers.

Maybe, you are not happy with the services being provided by your current network or all your family and friends are on the network hence, you want to port your number to Vodafone.

Don’t worry. The process is quite simple. All you have to do is:

  1. Send the word “Port” to 600
  2. Visit the nearest retail shop with a valid national ID card for assistance.
  3. The porting should be complete within 24 hours and you should have the same number but running a Vodafone service now.

What is Mobile Number Portability?

Mobile Number Portability is a system that enables you to move to your preferred network without changing your phone number.

How often can a subscriber change networks?

A subscriber can change to another network after being active on the present network for at least 30 days. However, if the subscriber feels misled by his new network the subscriber can request to be restored to their previous network.
