Internet in Ghana
According to Internet World Stats, Ghana had 11,745,571 Internet users on May 31, 2020, which represents 37.8% of its 31,044,696 population. I am an internet user, and I belong to this privilege few changing the way things are being done in Ghana using the internet. The internet powers most of my life activities: work, social life, and studies; I depend so much on it.
Ghana is reported, to be among the first countries in West Africa to be connected to the internet. We have had many challenges with internet connectivity issues, but the good news is, we are far better off than when it all began. In this article, I seek to convince you on why you should use Surfline 4G LTE internet service.
Surfline 4G LTE internet
Way back in 2015, I considered myself among some selected Ghanaians who were not enthused about the introduction of a 4G LTE internet service in Ghana by Surfline Communications Limited. I was more comfortable dealing with the 3.5G internet service; my mobile telecom provider was providing; though there were some challenges, especially with getting the 3G signals at some locations within Ghana. Despite this glaring challenge, I was still not ready to invest in new technology since I had no idea how well it was going to be managed.

The hype for Surfline 4G LTE was massive, and their customers made the noise loudest. I had friends who kept sharing comments about the speed, but, I kept saying “they are new”. As an IT professional, I try my best not to be swayed by any new exciting innovation in town. My fellow Ghanaians would agree with me that we like new things. Ghanaians are quick to subscribe to anything with good hype.
Five years down the line, I can say, Surfline 4G LTE is still meeting the expectations of most Ghanaians, the more reason you should consider their services. Before writing this article, I took a glance at Surfline’s network coverage map. They are genuinely doing a good job though their data packages have a limited duration.
The big question, why decide to you Surfline now?
I have a few good reasons why. Personally, my life revolves around the internet; I spend more time online for both work, studies and pleasure. I spend a lot trying to stay connected both on PC and mobile. In my quest to resolve my predicament, I started aggressive research into a solution that could help me provide internet access to all my network devices and allow me to have one central spending point. I needed a device that I could go everywhere with and still could connect to the internet either with my phone or PC. In the course of my research, I stumbled on a device known as the Mifi.
MiFi is a portable broadband device that allows multiple end-users and mobile devices to share a 3G or 4G mobile broadband Internet connection and create an ad-hoc network. There were other alternatives, but this was precisely what I needed. I noticed the mobile telecom companies already had this, so I know you will be thinking. Why not stick with them, sure I could have, but I now wanted a service that can give me a stable connection regardless of my location in Accra. Unlike Surfline, mobile telecom companies cannot guarantee 4G everywhere. This is my compelling reason to sign-up for Surfline Mi-fi. I am assured of 4G LTE internet connecting within their coverage areas.
I have good reasons to now want to use Surfline 4G LTE internet service and the more reason why I would recommend it to you as well. For more information on Surfline services and products visit: www.surflinegh.com
