In a Facebook post, Uber wrote “Hello, Accra – we’re celebrating Independence Day in true Ghanaian style by enjoying delicious chichinga with YOU!”
You can also get 25% discount on rides with the Uber Promo Code 25Accra, although some terms and conditions apply.
So make sure you’re taking Uber before 3pm.

How to get your free Uber Chichinga
- Open your Uber app between 11 am and 3 pm.
- Enter any destination in the ‘Where To’ box and ensure your pickup location is accurate
- Slide to the UberCHICHINGA icon and request a ride as per normal.
- If your request is successful, the UberCHICHINGA car will arrive at your location to bring you free chichinga.
- Chichinga is only available to riders in Accra.
With such promotions, it’s for a limited number of people so hurry and get yours.
