Twitter just announced that it is testing a fresh way to display threaded conversations for some iOS and web users that will make it simpler to view who is responding to whom. Presently, the way lengthy Twitter convos are displayed can sometimes make it hard to know who you are replying and how the convo is going, especially if the original poster is also responding to tweets.
According to Macrumors, Twitter is hopeful that its fresh Reddit-like interface will tackle this problem. The main Twitter support account showed an example of the test interface, including branching lines and indentations that aids the possibility of fitting more of the convo in a single view.

Twitter support wrote on its platform, “Your conversations are the 💙 of Twitter, so we’re testing ways to make them easier to read and follow.
Some of you on iOS and web will see a new layout for replies with lines and indentations that make it clearer who is talking to whom and to fit more of the convo in one view.”
