Release date: April 16

Cyberpunk, a science fiction sub-genre featuring dystopian futures and people with robotic limbs, has an extremely long history in the world of video games, including titles such as Deus Ex and Shadowrun.

Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be the next significant open-world experience that the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gave us back in 2015. In this sense, the “free state of California,” which in 2077 remains under full company control, has been founded with dystopian hyper-capitalist societies. Players create their characters and pursue both lethal and nonlethal methods as a mercenary.

As with the Witcher Games, the course for the rest of the story is determined through your dialogue. Keanu Reeves is making an appearance in the game, too, and it’s more than just a brief cameo. He will play Johnny Silverhand, an iconic character from the original Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop game on which the video game is based.

Furthermore, unlike in The Witcher, you will have a lot of control over your player character’s appearance, voice, clothing style, and fighting style, including what kind of futuristic body augmentations you want to use.

Doom Eternall will arrive on current-gen platforms in the spring of 2020, including Stadia and Switch. As in Doom’s release in 2016, players will perform the role of Doom Slayer, a silent human killing machine whose sole purpose is to destroy demonic beings from a hell-dimensional realm that invades his universe. New elements, including a grappling hook and several new and returning demon forms from previous games, will feature in this entry in the series.

Doom will remain a single-player game predominantly, but a new competitive multiplayer mode will allow a second player to control one of the demons at the level and battle against the Doom Slayer controller.

Platform: PC, PS5
Release date: TBA 2020

Godfall is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox Publishing. The game will be released on Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 5 in late 2020; it was the first game confirmed for release on the PlayStation 5.

The game is set in a high fantasy setting, split into the realms of Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Spirit, where players take the role of one of the last exalted Knight’s Order to prevent a major apocalyptic event. The player has three primary character classes to select from.

Additional Valorplates and augments can be equipped to customize how this character class plays out. It supports single player and up to three players in “drop-in drop-out. The game is characterized as a “looter-slasher” as while based on the loot shooter concept of completing missions and gaining better loot for further quests, the focus of the combat is on melee attacks than ranged ones.
