As you already know, the coronavirus pandemic has affected the entertainment business as all shows and festivals have been canceled until further notice. However, online performance has been a good substitute, and TicketPro, a subsidiary of Blue Label Telecoms, just unveiled COVID-Zero – a platform for South African singers, comedians to stream their craft online.
According to IT NEWS Africa, as entertainers jump on it, every ticket sale will be donated to help these artists amid the lockdown while also funding community care packages.

Brandon Duffield, MD of TicketPro had this to say, “Against the backdrop of a devastating pandemic, we are determined to provide entertainment for South Africans, while also giving a much-needed boost to our entertainers and to communities in need. From music to comedy acts, we’re inviting audiences to tell us what they want to see on their screens.”
