There, of course, are many more great things about Apple but here are three (3) interesting facts to know about its technology.
1. Apple is concerned about the environment
Apple designers don’t just think up great designs, they also think about their effect on our environment while they are at it.
- The Apple LED backlighting used for displays doesn’t contain mercury that will get dumped in our landfills.
- All the components are free of brominated flame retardants (BFRs); I know that’s a big word for me, it means they are bad for our environment.
- The internal cables do not use PVC which never seems to degrade.
Apple is a company that strongly promotes recyclable qualities, arsenic-free glass and aluminium that are known to consist of the Apple iPod and Mac casings. They have also significantly cut back on the type of packaging they use to save some of our trees. The efforts made by the company are truly considerable and are still developing from product to product. Among the numerous acknowledgements are the granting of Energy Star Status for the Apple Macs, this is due to their energy efficiency and electronic products environmental assessment tool (EPEAT), gold ratings for the Apple MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. So, as you can see, environmental concerns sure play a really big role in Apple design concepts. A lot of companies are beginning to follow the example set by Apple. So for those individuals who are very passionate about saving the environment, be assured that you are also helping to save the environment when you purchase Apple products. Do not forget about the custom car parts, they must be environmentally friendly too.
2. Innovative products that are on the leading edge of today’s technology
Innovation is one of the key factors when it comes to Apple design concepts. Innovation is no doubt fundamental to Apple’s existence as a leading electronics company in the world of technology. There are a lot of companies known for copying other companies’ technological advancements, but Apple is regarded as an innovator, period.
Apple products are great to look at, easy to use and show great respect to the environment that we live in. Many companies make a living by copying the Apple operating systems and applications. Apple has gone to great lengths to protect their products from hackers by being the leaders in information warfare.
My favourite new product is the Ipad II. You can buy an original Ipad for 95% off on different sites on the internet and you know what, I would love to have one. In fact, by the time you read this, I may have bought one.
3. Great accessories
As an iPhone 4G user, I’ve discovered a vast number of great accessories that go along with it. My gosh, there are so many apps you can download and a lot of them are free. Okay, yes it’s true, I’m cheap and have downloaded many of the free apps. One of my favourite applications I love is Pandora radio that can make listening to music a really wonderful experience. You have the opportunity to shop on the internet for your favourite music, games, podcasts, television shows, and videos through the Apple iTunes store. Once a purchase has been made, items can be synced with the iPod effortlessly.
Apple products are designed to make life a whole lot easier and more fun too! If you’re doing business on the internet you might want to take a look at the Apple products. It might take some getting used to after using a PC based system but the difference is like night and day. Whatever product you choose just be sure to put it to use every day to grow your business. Right now you may be using a certain product due to cost but wouldn’t it be nice to use a product because you wanted it, not because of how much it cost.
