Standard Chartered Bank launches a complete digital banking app for mobile — SC mobile app

Ghana’s chapter of the Standard Chartered Bank has officially launched a complete digital banking for mobile by introducing their mobile app — Standard Chartered Mobile. This is a step in fulfilling the bank’s promise to offer the best of digital banking service for its customers.

The SC Mobile app makes it possible for the bank’s customers to perform all banking activities from a mobile phone. By using the SC Mobile app, clients get access to all the bank’s digital services. New customers can even open a bank account right from the app. They just have to upload all verification documents to the app and complete the new account opening processes within minutes.

Free debit cards

Creating a new StanChart Bank account via the SC Mobile app earns you a free debit card. The debit card automatically joins the clients to the bank’s 360 rewards loyalty programme. To make the whole process a digital one (i.e., without clients having to go to a physical branch.), the debit cards will be delivered to the client via Ghana Post.

SC Mobile app also comes with mobile money enabled so the branch interface is really cut off. It also come with an increased number of billers. Thus, the bank’s customers can go about all their banking transactions from the comfort of their homes and offices right on their phones.

Worth mentioning, the bank has incorporated about 70 client services they provide all into the SC Mobile app.
