Carrots are useful vegetables that provide several benefits. However, like everything else, too much of it is harmful to your body. See Side effects of eating too many carrots:

1. It causes carotenemia: Carrots come with beta-carotene, a carotenoid that is converted to vitamin A in our body. Eating too much of carrots will not make you risk excessive vitamin A, but having a high amount of carotene in your blood can result in Carotenemia, a yellowish discoloration of the skin. Trust me, you want to avoid that.
2. Too much sugar: Anyone living with diabetes should stay away from carrot because of its high sugar content.
3. It changes flavor of breast milk: Carrots possess vitamins and minerals which are vital to the body. But research has proven that carrot can change the flavor of breast milk. So any woman that is breastfeeding should stay away from excessive drinking of carrot juice.
