Creating slides with Microsoft PowerPoint is quite easy. However, trying to send it without destroying its format at the receivers end is almost impossible. That is why it is necessary to convert the file to PDF before it is sent. But how can this be achieved? You need to save the powerpoint as pdf and here are the steps to do that successfully:
How to save PowerPoint as PDF
When you are done creating the PowerPoint presentation:
1. Export With Create PDF/XPS Document
When want to share your slides as a PDF, click on the file menu and select Export. Now, ensure that you’ve selected, Create PDF/XPS Document. And click on Create PDF/XPS.

2. Set the Save As Type to PDF
A menu will pop up. When that happens, select where you want you PDF to be saved. You should give it a preferrable file name and make sure that the Save as type is set to PDF as well.
3. Adjust Options Before Saving to PDF
Now,you can Publish, to save your PDF as it is. Also, you can look at additional options. In the range section, you could leave this set to All to export every slide as a part of a PDF, or choose the Current Slide or the slides option to choose a specific number of slides to export.
