The wait is almost over. The much anticipated Galaxy S10 smartphones from Samsung is going to be revealed officially at an event in San Francisco. And this event is happening on the February 20, 2019.
The Galaxy S10 rumours were all over the internet last November. The rumours said the phone may possibly be a 5G device. The set of S10s are in three variants: the normal flagship (S10), a Plus version (S10+) and a budget model (S10 Lite), all collectively named “Beyond”.
The normal S10 Lite is supposed have a 5.8 inch screen and 6.1 inch screen for the S10. For the Galaxy S10 Plus, the size of the screen is really not clear. Some report it to be coming in a 6.4 inch, others say it is going to have a 6.7 inch screen size.
A report said the Beyond X which is referring to the Plus version might possess a set of 6 rear camera lenses. This, they say, will give more fine zoom detail as well as a depth mapping feature.

Also, from the rumours, the S10 smartphones will have a cut-out front facing camera on the screen. This is probably going to be the biggest visual change. With an iPhone-like notch change, Samsung sticks with a slightly thicker bezel.
From the renders and all, it seems Samsung will ditch the iris scanner for this phone. The company is probably doing this to house a little cut-out. But it is possible that Samsung will compensate that with an on-screen fingerprint ID scanner like the OnePlus 6T.
Since the phone is going to be launched in a few weeks’ time, I think we can just wait for the actual specs and all. February 20 isn’t that far. Though with all these plenty leaks of the Galaxy S10, we hope Samsung has something up their sleeve to surprise us all.
