Xiaomi sub-brand, Redmi, has today announced that the Note 11 series will be unveiled on October 28 in China.

The company also shared a couple of posters revealing a punch-hole display and a triple camera setup on the rear.

The smartphone also has volume buttons on the right-side frame, with the 3.5mm headphone jack placed on top alongside what is likely to be an IR blaster and a speaker tuned by JBL.

Since Redmi says it will unveil the Note 11 series on October 28, you can expect more than one smartphone. The company has not mentioned how many smartphones the  Redmi Note 11 series includes, but some have hinted we are looking at two devices – Note 11 and Note 11 Pro.

Expected model specifications

The Pro variant is said to come with a Dimensity 920 SoC, 120Hz OLED screen, and a 5,000 mAh battery, which will charge at up to 67W or 120W.

The vanilla model will also pack a 5,000 mAh cell, but it is rumoured to go up to 33W. It will have a 120Hz LCD and have a Dimensity 810 at the helm with two memory options – 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro version, on the other hand, will also be available in a third trim, having 8GB RAM and 256GB storage onboard.

Expected design

In terms of design, the Redmi Note 11 features flat edges similar to the iPhone 12 and 13 series. The Redmi Note 11 also feature a Xiaomi logo on the top edge along with a speaker grille and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The display of Redmi Note 11 will be flat around the edges and the left side of the device is kept blank. The curved aesthetics have been ditched so it looks rectangular, unlike its predecessors. It sports a quad-camera unit with an LED flash on the back shell.

With the launch event few days away, we can expect more details about the Note 11 to surface in the lead-up to the unveiling.
