If you have the Opera browser installed on your Android device then, there’s good news for you. Opera is adding unlimited free VPN — which is currently being rolled out to beta users, to its Android browser. The feature would enable you to set your location as America, Asia, or Europe. You’d also be able to automatically pick the optimal connection using a setting.
There are also options to turn off the VPN while searching so you get more localized results and to only activate it on private tabs.
Until last year, Opera had a VPN app for Android and iOS, but, it had to shut it down, due to the developers’ departure from the company. when the app’s developers left the company.
With a VPN directly built into the browser, users won’t necessarily need to install a third party app in other to have some privacy — affording them that extra layer of protection. VPNs are important for many varying reasons. For most people, their primary use for them is to ensure some privacy online, and for some others, they are used for getting around geo-restricted content or to unblock websites.
