Swedish international Olle ‘Ollelito’ Arbin made history last Sunday as he became the first Swedish player to win the FUT Champions Cup after he defeated Germany’s ‘Umut’ 4-3 in the finals to win the FUT Champions Cup Stage III in Atlanta, USA.
Olle who is ranked 36th on Xbox takes home $ 50,000 cash prize as well as 2,000 EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global SeriesRankings points.
The Stage III of the FUT Champions Cup which is part of the FIFA 20 Global Series was organized between January 17 and January 19, 2020 after the first and second stages were held on November 8-10, 2019 and November 22-24, 2019 respectively.

The finalists of the tournament had to battle their way through the group stages which had 64 players through to the consoles before arriving at the grande finale.
Umut had to defeat Tom 2-1 in the PlayStation finals while Ollelito also had to defeat Diogo 2-1 to set up the grande finale where Ollelito emerged victorious.
Speaking after the tournament, Ollelito expressed his joy and thanked his family and country.
He said: “I don’t know what to say, I’m speechless. To all of the Swedes who cheered for me this weekend: thank you, especially to my family. Mom, I love you. See you tomorrow.”
The FUT Champions Cup Stage IV will follow later next with the venue yet to be announced.
