Nokia’s parent, HMD Global has postponed the launch of the Nokia 9.2 to be able to stand competition this year. According to the report, the delay would give the new Nokia flagship the opportunity to rock the Snapdragon 856 processor — the same processor most of its competitors would be having.
The postponement is also giving the company the chance to put an under display selfie camera in the next Nokia flagship. This feature is said to be in testing right now for the Nokia 9.2, according to GSM Arena.
This could make it the first smartphone to actually bring such a feature to life. Though Chinese smartphone maker, Oppo, has few publications on the feature, it still hasn’t given any concrete remarks that it has been able to fit the under display camera in its smartphones.
Nokia is in a tough competition with the other top smartphone companies like Samsung and Huawei but if it’s able to debut this feature in the Nokia 9.2, I’m pretty sure Nokia would have an upper hand.
