The ultimate prize, a Hyundai i10 saloon car was awarded Rebecca Nkrumah of Beckinash Enterprise — for being the best MoMo agent for the Central and Western regions in 2018.
The excited Madam Nkrumah attributed her recognition to excellent service and loyalty to MTN, saying “my daily turnovers increased as a result of the consistency I applied in loading e-cash and making sure subscribers of MTN do not lack when whenever they need cash to make their transactions.”
Madam Nkrumah, who operates from Wassa Akropong in the Amenfi-West municipality of the Western Region, advised her fellow Mobile Money agents nationwide to be diligent in discharging their duties — as a show of loyalty to MTN.
The awards event, which is held annually, is to acknowledge and celebrate Mobile Money (MoMo) agents who have been professional in the discharge of their duties in relation to Mobile Money operations. Agents are awarded based on criteria such as how long you has been an agent, consistency in providing quality services, absence of fraud incidents, etc.
Speaking at the event, Godwin Tamakloe, Senior Manager Analytics and Compliance commended the agents for making MTN mobile money a leader in the domestic cash remittance system through their invaluable service.
“Through your hard work and commitment we have achieved a lot of strides in the mobile money space, this year MTN Mobile Money has been recognized and celebrated at four prestigious awards events.” – Godwin Tamakloe
He dedicated the awards to the agents as well as the stakeholders who been supportive over the years — while admonishing the agents to avoid fraud and other deviant behaviors in their operations, in order to keep their customers.
