What would you call a budget smartphone whose battery is a massive 5000mAh, has enough RAM to make your mobile games and apps run smoothly, and comes with 32GB of storage space, but costs only $199?
A heavy duty workhorse — if you want to say simple nice things about Lenovo’s Moto E4 Plus.
The device, despite being a budget-level mobile handset, has some remarkable features that could rival a number of higher priced Android phones.
The smartphone has a full metal body design that gives it a premium feel many other phones in its price bracket aren’t able to replicate. Its curved back allows it to comfortably sit in your hand. Also present is a fingerprint sensor which doubles as a ‘home’ button.
Running on a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 427 processor with 2GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of storage, the Moto E4 Plus is pretty much quick — when loading webpages or running the usual suspects in terms of mobile apps. However, you’ll notice some slowing down when playing data-intensive games with your browser tabs open.
Its 13MP camera is great if you like to tweak settings so you’d get wonderful images, however, if you’re one who’s used to the point-and-click greatness of the higher spec smartphones then, you’ll be a tad disappointed because you’ll have to earn your good shots, so to speak.
But what the Moto E4 Plus smartphone missed with the camera, it makes up for with the powerbank of a battery that it comes with.
The 5000mAh battery will make you stop panicking when you realize you left your charger at home, or in the office. This battery can last beyond two days without dying so overnight charging of your phone is no longer going to be a priority if you own this powerbank smartphone.
In conclusion, the Moto E4 Plus may not have the best behaving camera or the greatest possible resolution (1280 x 720) for its 5.5-inch screen, but this smartphone comes equipped with a powerful battery that’ll make buying a separate powerbank an unnecessary purchase.
Go take a look at it, and you might just fall in love with this device.
