I never expected this to happen so soon when I said last time that you would be expecting more to come with MiniTool ShadowMaker’s future updates. It was no more than a week (3 days, to be exact) that the developer had released MiniTool ShadowMaker 3.2, the latest version of its backup software. The official release date was Oct. 28, 2019.
Your computer needs periodic maintenance. Programs take longer to open, a startup requires a few more seconds, which is natural. After all, you have more programs installed. You accumulate more files, and so on. Other times, however, a deeper change is needed when you get some warnings that something is wrong.
In some cases, it may be a virus. In others, a physical component that is beginning to have problems. Or even with some relatively new issues, such as web pages that bring cryptocurrency mining codes. With that in mind, it is always important to have a backup system up to date, providing the security needed to resolve these issues without the risk of losing important documents.
MiniTool ShadowMaker 3.2 Plans and Costs
Continue with my review for a deeper look at the latest MiniTool ShadowMaker 3.2. In addition to a free online backup plan, MiniTool ShadowMaker has been offering additional plans that have premium features.
- Manage remote computer
- Back up on event

MiniTool ShadowMaker premium versions can be purchased at a basic price of $29 for personal users, and way up to $399 for business users.
I find MiniTool ShadowMaker’s prices are considerable among others of its same kind. Unfortunately, however, the backup software lacks lifetime upgrade plans. This restriction also apply to business users.
MiniTool has equipped its backup program with several new features that can help users better back up their files and PCs. A summary of some of the updates about the latest version:
- German & Japanese added.
- Improve Email Notification.
- Bug fix for synchronizing large folders.
- Allow adding backups from Shared folder in MiniTool ShadowMaker Bootable Edition.
Overall, I really like MiniTool ShadowMaker 3.2. It offers some cool features that are really easy to use and reliable, some features that are not as good as those found in other backup programs though.
MiniTool ShadowMaker 3.2 may not support all the features you are looking for, but it is worth a shot.
