Microsoft workers will have to keep working at home for now despite the fact that several stay-home orders continue getting eased all across the globe. The company just told its workers to not head to any of their physical offices just yet unless they are essential workers who really have to be present.
According to PulseNG, Microsoft’s offices have been shut down since March amid various government‘s compulsory stay-at-home orders. According to a spokesperson, 2 days ago, the company reached out to workers to inform them that despite the lifting of orders, working from home will remain optional till around October.
The spokesperson said, “When restrictions lift, working from home will remain optional through October unless employees are in an essential role or local authorities mandate otherwise.”

Microsoft is a giant in the tech industry, with over 144,000 employees all over the world. Recall that Amazon also told its workers to keep working from home till October 2, days ago.
