Major talking points in week 4 of Golden Hour

1.Wonderkhid bounces back in style to extend lead at the top

After winning his first two matches, Wonderkid’s winning streak was brought to an end by a determined Kiki who held him to a pulsating 2-2 draw last weekend. The expectations were, therefore, high for Wonderkid as many were looking forward to see him return back to winning ways.

Coming up against Starson, who now occupies third place on the table, Wonderkhid was expected to have a run for his money as both had amassed seven points each, going into the game. Starson started on the front foot and displayed some good passing skills with his Juventus side but failed to create and utilize his chances. Wonderkhid on the other hand was clinical and placed home a penalty to take the lead before adding a second in the second half to emerge victorious on the day.

The win places  Wonderkhid in pole position to win the maiden edition of the Golden Hour eSports tournament and would need just a draw in the last game to clinch the ultimate.

2. Sulley denied by Kiki

Second placed Sulley slipped up on a glorious opportunity to mount pressure on Wonderkhid who sits top of the table with 10 points. A win for Sulley would have seen him move to one point within Wonderkhid’s but he was denied by Kiki. But he would be hoping to impress in the last game of the tournament when faces off with Wonderkhid, knowing that  a win would see him lay his hands on the trophy.

3. Messi bags first three points

Both Messi and Aspect have had a torrid time in the competition with both earning just a single point before last Saturdays’ encounter. The determination was undoubtedly high as both players were keen to avoid another embarrassing moment in the tournament.

In a game which saw Aspect thrill the viewers with his best performance of the tournament Messi capitalized on Aspect’s inability to create chances to defeat him by 2-0. The result means Messi has picked his first three points of the competition while Aspect looks likely to finish at the bottom of the table with just a single point from 4 games.

Match Week 5

The first game of the final week of the competition will be played on 13 July, 2019. Aspect will face off with Starson in the first game.

The second match will be between Messi and Kiki before Wonderkid and Sulley face off in the final game of Match Week five and the Golden Hour eSports tournament.
