BusyInternet, one of Ghana’s 4G mobile broadband internet service provider, has selected a new CEO for the company. Madam Rosy Fynn was the woman chosen as BusyInternet’s new CEO.
It now looks like the telecom and internet companies in the country have a keen interest in making females head their organisations. This is a good thing as it motivates younger females to venture into the tech arena.
Talking of that, we now have the first female CEO for Vodafone Ghana, Madam Patricia Obo-Nai. AirtelTigo also has Mitwa Kaemba Ng’ambi. And now, there is Rosy Fynn for BusyInternet.
Madam Rosy Fynn’s appointment has taken effect as of June 10, 2019.
Daniel Asante welcomed Ms Fynn to the team of BusyInternet’s Board Members saying the company was confident in her and was sure she’s going to deliver.
“The board of BusyInternet is excited to have Rosy at the helm of the company. We are more than confident in her abilities and expect that her infectious energy, drive and strategic direction will give the business the jumpstart it needs to evolve into its next phase of growth.”
Rosy Fynn speaking on here appointment as BusyInternet’s CEO said the company is going to focus on investing in their “network and service delivery capabilities, create stronger relationships and synergies and build on our strong brand heritage to offer our customers superior end to end service experience”.
BusyInternet’s CEO Rosy Fynn’s quick background
Ms Fynn got her first degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Smith College, Massachusetts, USA. She has experience of strategic and operational business leadership which she got both locally and internationally.
Ms Fynn obtained her MBA from Harvard Business School, also in Massachusetts, USA.
She also has over a decade’s worth of executive level experience businesses concerning technology, financial services and consulting.
On the fun side, she is quite a keen sportswoman. She actively participates in the annual Accra Millennium marathon and loves squash and basketball games.
