Infinix S3 Smartphone
The Infinix S3 also known as Infinix Hot S3 is coming as a successor to Infinix S2 Pro with improved and distinctive features and specs.
Wefie was one outstanding feature on the S2 Pro last year but what should one expect from the S3? It still maintains the sensational sophisticated look of an Infinix S series device, however, 5 areas have seen some major enhancements.
1. Improved Camera
As a selfie-centric device, we can expect to see some improvement. The S3 comes with a single 20MP front-facing low-light selfie camera, and at the back, we have a single 13MP back camera.
2. Full Display
This is like the latest trend in town for phone manufacturers. You can’t release a new phone in 2018 and not give it a full view display. This is one costly mistake no manufacturer will dare to commit. I can’t say much, let’s wait for the device to arrive, then, we can tell if Infinix got it right. The S3 happens to be Infinis first device to feature the 18:9 Aspect ratio.
3. Upgrade in System on Chip (SoC) to boost performance
This is an obvious a game-changer in the S-line of phones by Infinix. Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 may not be high mainstream SoC but it will sure give the S3 superior power over its predecessor and rival budget smartphones. It consists of a core CPU part with ARM Cortex-A53 core which clocks at up to 1.4 GHz. The SoC also includes an Adreno 505 GPU with support for Vulkan and OpenGL ES 3.1, we can expect a favourable graphics processing power. And the best is supports memory up to 4GB. We can only expect the best as The S3 with this SoC will run on Android 8.0 Oreo.
4. Improved battery power
Comparing to its predecessor — S2 Pro which had 3000mAh, the S3 has a major boost as it is loaded with a 4000mAh battery which is purported to last for 2 days.
5. Security (Face Unlock)
Another layer of security has been added to get you more excited. Not only your fingerprint, you can now use your face to secure your device. Unlock your phone by holding it up and watch the screen. Very simple.
I will go into more detail on these areas in our featured and review articles on the S3.
