Huawei has announced to launch its nova 7i on February 14, 2020 in Malaysia. The nova 7i which is not a new device (a re-branded Huawei nova 6 SE) was launched last December in China.
As a refreshed version of a device launched just last month, you wouldn’t expect many changes in it. The phone will sport Huawei’s in-house HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor with the same 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage capacity of the nova 6 SE.
The selfie camera pegged at 16MP, will be a cutout on the screen. On the back, there will be a quad-camera setup with their specs as 48MP (main), 8MP (ultrawide), 2MP (macro), and 2MP (depth sensor).
With fingerprint mounted on the side, the Huawei nova 7i will feature a 4,200 mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging. This fast charging will be able to charge the phone from 0% to 70% in 30 minutes.
In its home country China, the nova 6 SE is selling for $320 (about GHS 1,760), which makes it easier to speculate the cost of the nova 7i to be the same.
