Google has unveiled an Incognito Mode feature that allows you to go MIA as you use the Maps application. Meaning, Maps can be used without allowing others to view where you are headed, which is important if you are shopping for your birthday or working on a surprise get-together. It won’t save the places you’ve searched for too, in case you share your phone, location or Google account with others.
How to enable or disable Incognito mode?
- On your Android device, launch the Google Maps app.
- In the top right corner, click your profile icon.
- Choose Turn on Incognito Mode.
- When you are set to disable the settings, adhere to the same instructions as above and choose Turn off Incognito Mode.
