Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google-parent company Alphabet has told workers that they will most likely be working from home for the remainder of 2020. During a recent meeting, Google workers were informed that anyone who prefers to return to the office would be allowed to do around June or July, but they must be ready to abide by specific safety measures.
According to Business Insider, This is coming after Facebook recently announced that workers would keep doing their jobs from their homes for the rest of the year, even if offices would be reopened from July 6.

Recall that in April, Google informed employees that it was extending work-from-home to June 1, however, it looks like that has been scrapped and Google’s workforce will keep working from their various houses for months to come.
